We explore unique properties and functions that emerge when molecules assemble in an orderly or organized manner – phenomena impossible to observe in isolated molecules. To uncover, understand, and control this fascinating world of molecular assemblies, we take a comprehensive approach. This spans molecular design and synthesis, the precise fabrication of well-defined assemblies, characterization of their properties, and theoretical analysis. Our ultimate aim is to create novel functions and materials that will shape the future.
